GreenScape Environmental Management
In the design and construction of GreenScape, great care is being taken to maximise the positives and eliminate all negative effects on the
local environment. The site has been carefully chosen to ensure the project homes are in a haven of peace and tranquillity. The GreenScape project is set in abundant tropical gardens and a mango forest flowing downhill on 120,000 m2 of land.
With over 5,000 established mango trees on the land, we plan to maintain the environmental balance of GreenScape and fully preserve the
natural beauty of the mango forest. To maintain the green concept and environmental balance, the owners of each plot are responsible for keeping the number of trees in their plot the same even after the houses are completed. When you buy a plot with 20 trees, you can cut down some of these trees to build your home but you have to replace them with new trees in the compound to maintain the original 20 you started with. This ensures the original 5000 trees will still exist after the project is complete.

Powering a Green Community-A little Science
GreenScape will be Thailand’s first totally solar-powered housing project. The 350 Kw project consists of 73 individual photovoltaic (photo-electric) systems, 1750 x 200 Kw solar modules. The solar modules are customised to integrate with house roofs. Each home will generate
5kW of electricity and the solar electricity generated will be used for the electrical needs of all homes, common areas and facilities with
surplus power will be sent to the public power grid. Our photovoltaic system will save 0.5 kg of carbon emission for every 1kWh of solar power produced. The houses will have passive and active solar energy features. The passive solar features will make houses cool during summer
ensuring natural light and better air circulation inside the house whilst the active solar energy elements include the solar heated hot-water system. GreenScape will also have other sustainable features like a rubbish management system, battery operated pick-ups for residents, solar powered street lighting and individual water management systems for each home.

Summary of our self sustainable energy concept features:

• Photo-voltaic solar ‘system on grip’ is included for each plot with atleast a 5Kw supply to all but eliminate the need for a public power supply.
• Hot water from solar panels eliminates the use of electricity.
• Each plot is connected to individual project wells supplying water from our own land.
• Specially installed irrigation system will minimise and optimise the water feed to our abundant green gardens.
